Sustainably woven with native ilala palm by traditional makers using time-honoured techniques, these stunning baskets have a gorgeous coastal feel with their warm tones and beautiful weave, and are perfect as plant holders, craft and toy storage, table decor and more.

Medium - 41-50cm diameter
Large - 51-60cm diameter

These gorgeous dancing baskets are handcrafted in the Southern Province of Zambia, home of the stunning Victoria Falls and Zambezi River. Each basket is unique, created with sustainable materials and empowers female artisans to continue their craft while supporting their families.

Our dancing baskets are completely unique! Sizes and colours can vary due to the handmade nature of the item. Colours can vary according to when in the season the pendant was woven, and can develop with time, usually becoming slightly darker.

We are happy to send photos of your exact baskets if you need to choose a particular shade to ensure your satisfaction prior to shipping, as returns on this basis are not accepted.

All of our handmade, authentic items are unique, with their own charms and imperfections - just like us. Your purchase supports traditional makers and their families in Zambia so from them to you - thanks!
